Kenji Ota (May 14, 1923 – November 10, 2015) was a second-generation Japanese-American, also known as Nisei, raised in Lompoc, California. [1] Following the enforcement of Executive Order 9066, he and his family were placed in the Japanese American internment camps of World War II.

The Goleta postal facility shootings were a spree killing perpetrated by Jennifer San Marco on January 30, 2006. San Marco, a former United States Postal Service employee, shot and killed six people in Goleta, California, before taking her own life. Prior to the Goleta shooting, she shot and killed a former neighbor in nearby Santa Barbara.
A decision was made to commit the murder on the Lizard’s Mouth trail in the Santa Ynez Mountains north of Goleta. [4] [6] After the party, Hoyt, Rugge, and Pressley drove Nicholas to the mountains and walked up a trail to a grave dug by Pressley earlier that night. Rugge bound Nicholas's hands behind his back and covered his mouth with duct tape.
When he died, the man left $150,000 worth of property in the poster's mother's name. The mom then sold one of the properties, netting about $100,000 in profit and gifting her daughter $20,000 of that.
