If you call the 800 number from a phone registered to you in your profile it directs you to the DD automatically. Call (855) 292-5757. It’ll ask for your Honors number. This has probably been the most noticeable decline of Diamond for me. Most of the hotels I go to are great, and the people super helpful.

Does anyone know if the people answering at the Customer Service Line and the Diamond Desk are even employed by Hilton. My guess is that they are sub-contracted and aren't actual employees of Hilton. That would explain why the don't really care to help Diamond members. 28K subscribers in the Hilton community.

Then I opened my Hilton app to confirm the booking. Booking was good to go, except I was out 200k Hilton points. Immediately called Hilton back on a different number, this time the Diamond Desk picked up. I explained what happened, and said that the previous agent may have used points instead of my certificates.

It sounds like things like upgrades are decided by the individual hotels (as makes sense) but there’s no incentive for the hotel to upgrade in most cases. Hilton corporate has more incentive to keep customers in the Hilton family rewarded but their options feel watered down. Diamond Desk is still based in the US.

The Hilton Diamond Desk (1-800-548-8690) was useful, but they do not have all the information since they deal with 50 states. And there could also be different county taxes within a state. When I finally called this number tonight, this lady did some research and confirmed that my stay after 30 days should be tax-exempt indeed.

General 60 or 90 days, but Amex is good about using their website to make it easy. If you can’t dispute the initial charge, I’d document the initial charge receipt, highlighting the confirmation number and the folio receipt cross referencing that same folio and just saying the deposit/credit wasn’t applied to your hotel stay upon check-in.

  9. Premium Wi-Fi at Hilton hotels? : r/Hilton - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Hilton/comments/qptsv4/premium_wifi_at_hilton_hotels

Premium wifi must, as a standard, be 3 times the speed of the base internet. It's unlikely that the desk knows what the base speed is. Additionally, each Hilton has switches that will ensure each person is getting as close to the speed required as possible. If a hotel continually fails to meet these speeds Hilton will intervene and require ...

There is currently a ‘global waiver’ in place (due to a winter storm) for guests with reservation check-in dates 3/12-3/20 traveling to, through or from CT,ME,MA,NH,NJ,NY.,PA,RI and VT. Hilton does not verify guests under these waivers - i.e., they require no itinerary etc - and they require granting a full refund.

The direct line for advanced purchase is 1-800-236-7113. As a Hilton employee, best of luck. I’ve had a guest with a death in the family not getting refunded. 2. Reply. jmackk420. • 1 yr. ago. Advanced purchase = no refund. 3.
