Marinette Dupain-Cheng (voiced by Cristina Vee in the English dub, [1] [2] [3] and by Anouck Hautbois in the French version with singing voice in the film by Lou in both versions) is the female protagonist of the series and a French-Chinese 13/14-year-old student at Françoise Dupont High School (Collège Françoise Dupont).
The series takes place in modern-day Paris and revolves around the adventures of two teenagers, [17] [18] Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste. [19] When evil arises, they transform into their superhero personas, Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively, using magical jewels known as the "Miraculouses".
The superheroine identity of Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Ladybug, was inspired by a young woman wearing a T-shirt with a ladybug depicted on it. [1] [3] She belonged to the production team of another show that also included Thomas Astruc, the creator of the show, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie (Original Soundtrack) is the English version of the soundtrack. It was released on 28 July 2023 by 22D Music, with distribution handled by Lakeshore Records. The soundtrack release coincided with the Netflix release of the film in selected territories.
