This is a list of museums in Columbus, Ohio and non-profit and university art galleries. The city's first museum was the Walcutt Museum, opened July 1851. At its opening, the museum had about six wax figures and a few paintings. It grew to have about 20 wax figures, several hundred animal specimens, and about 100 quality oil paintings. [1]

Beulah Park opened in Grove City, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, in 1923.It was the first thoroughbred racetrack in Ohio.At its close it was one of only three tracks in Ohio to offer live thoroughbred racing, the others being Thistledown in North Randall and River Downs in Cincinnati.

The museum is located at the Ohio State Fairgrounds, site of the Ohio State Fair, and a short distance north of downtown. The history center opened in 1970 as the Ohio Historical Center, moving the museum from its former site by the Ohio State University.
The 18th & E. Broad Historic District is a historic district on Broad Street in the Near East Side of Columbus, Ohio. The district was added to the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1988. Its properties were added to the E. Broad St. Multiple Resources Area on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. [1] [2]
