The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a medium baseline [2] [3] reactor neutrino experiment under construction at Kaiping, Jiangmen in Guangdong province in Southern China. It aims to determine the neutrino mass hierarchy and perform precision measurements of the Pontecorvo–Maki–Nakagawa–Sakata matrix elements.
Ceres was the first asteroid discovered and now is labeled as a dwarf planet, taking up about 1/3 of the entire mass of the asteroid belt. [3] ( According to some astrologers, to get an understanding of the nature of a planet, astrologers may study the characteristics and positions of known planets at the time of discovery, observe the trend of significant events at the time, and evaluate over ...
JADE-E is for detecting electrons from 0.1 to 100 keV, and there are three JADE-E sensors on Juno. [2] JADE-I is for detecting ions from 5 eV to 50 keV. [ 2 ] It is designed to return data in situ on Jupiter's auroral region and magnetospheric plasmas, by observing electrons and ions in this region. [ 2 ]
The Juno gravity experiment makes use of spacecraft's antenna, which are used to send radio signals to Earth with precise timing. This allows the Doppler effect to be recorded, which in turn allows the calculation of the gravity field around Jupiter. Jupiter shown in the image 'Jupiter Marble' as recorded by Juno
The Juno mission, launched in 2011, is the first mission to Jupiter (arrived at Jupiter on July 4, 2016) to use solar panels instead of the traditional RTGs that are used by previous outer Solar System missions, making it the furthest spacecraft to use solar panels to date. [17] [18] It has 50 square metres (540 sq ft) of panels. [19] [20]
Jovian Infrared Auroral Mapper (JIRAM) is an instrument on the Juno spacecraft in orbit of the planet Jupiter. It is an image spectrometer and was contributed by Italy. [ 1 ] Similar instruments are on ESA Rosetta , Venus Express , and Cassini-Huygens missions. [ 1 ]

The amount of fiber in a fiber reinforced composite directly corresponds with the mechanical properties of the composite. Theoretically the maximum fiber ratio of round fibers that can be achieved in a composite is 90.8% if the fibers are in a unidirectional hexagonal close packed configuration.
