Sneaky Pete is a bad company to do business with. I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere,,,,,they chose their name very appropriately in my opinion. I will never ever trust another company without a phone number ever again thanks to that roving band of idiots and the B***H that answers the emails.
A Sneaky Pete Holster has the logo right on it, flat-out advertising what's inside. It may be rectangular, but it comes right out and says "There's a gun in here!" Maybe a triangular holster of similar design is no better, but it's not a P38 flap holster, either... PT738 in the pocket, Serpa with a Neon Green Cold Steel $20 piece of rubber in it...
I received the ballistic nylon Sneaky Pete holster for my S&W 9mm Shield today. The main reason I bought the holster is for certain work days, and I think it's going to work well in that situation. I'm an attorney, and I'm in court four or five times a month with my main client.
Bought a Glock .380 from an individual who was nice enough to throw in a Sneaky Pete holster for the gun. Worked with it a bit and decided that a rig like that just isn't for me. So I took out the interior frame molding that was meant to keep the Glock facing muzzle down. Now the Sneaky Pete makes a dandy cigar case!
I have carried my bigger handguns in fanny packs and smaller ones in leather flap "cases" (Google Sneaky Pete Holsters) on my hip in SC. In SC, one can, basically, only carry concealed in public with a "permit". I plan on getting an old school looking leather flap holster that also covers the magazine well of my 1911s.
Mine would have to be my level 2 serpa. Very smooth and very comfortable. When I did armed security in Florida, the serpa was great for what I needed to do.
Holster: Sneaky Pete Gun: Kel-tec P3AT Thoughts: This holster slides onto your belt, and the flap is secured magnetically. It's pretty comfortable and doesn't look like a holster at all. It comes in several different colors, so you can be dressy or casual, and you can choose different sizes for different guns.
Just picked up a brand new beretta 96A1 with the rail and I am havin an impossible time finding a Blackhawk serpa for it. The standard serpa for the 96fs won't accept the rail. Anyone carrying this gun and if so what holsters have you found that work best for it?
The forum will be down for about an hour this weekend for maintenance. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Heck, some of my favorite holsters have them. But since I tend to carry the same handgun the same way in the same holster those others tend to sit in a plastic bin (just in case one day I change my mind).
