If the stats Riot posted is true, Vanguard is a much more successful anticheat than anything else out there. Catching cheaters in online games is an infinite cat and mouse situation, where devs figure out who cheats, and the cheaters figure out how to not be caught and the cycle continues on and on.
Yes, this is what I used myself. However, it’s not related to the topic, since, as I’ve mentioned, I completely removed Riot Vanguard — it’s not on the app list, and these two files are the only ones left (at least according to my research).

same i’m gonna avoid league until they fix it. i just got the client to work by launching league through the riot client but still gonna stay off league. happened twice in a row. time and lp wasted. btw i think everyone in my game i played got kicked because it’s already over and i didn’t lose lp. still counted as a loss though so i hope my mmr didn’t go down on top of my win rate.

Whenever I boot up my pc, there's always a chance my pc freezes, sometimes it even freezes right after my desktop shows up. I did some research and found out that Riot Vanguard was the culprit for the freezes. I tried uninstalling Riot Vanguard and then my pc works perfectly fine with no freezes or things like that.
