The 2024 East Asian Baseball Cup is the 14th edition of the tournament, held from October 29 to November 4, 2024 at the Clark International Sports Complex at the Clark Freeport Zone in Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines. [1] [2] The hosting rights were awarded in May 2024. [3]
The Philippines participated at the 2003 Asian Baseball Championship which also served as an Olympic qualifier. However it finished fifth. The national team achieved better results at the 2005 Southeast Asian Games, winning the gold medal for the baseball event beating Thailand 11-1 in the final. [2]

Two conferences were held in 2019. [2] The first season and conference of the league commenced in January 2019. With six of the seven teams participating being collegiate teams also participating in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the first conference also served as a pre-season event to the UAAP Season 81 baseball tournament.
