Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom theme parks will start closing at 1 p.m. Wednesday, the company said in a statement. Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney Springs will close at 2 p.m.

Although Disney never officially stated its reasons for closing the park, it is widely believed that high costs of maintenance, poor attendance and the opening of a bigger and newer Disney Animal Kingdom, are the most likely reasons.
