Devaraagam is a 1996 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film directed by Bharathan and starring Aravind Swamy and Sridevi. It also had KPAC Lalitha, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, Zeenath, and Nedumudi Venu in supporting roles. The film was famous for its music which was composed by M. M. Keeravani. All the songs topped the hit charts.
The first Urdu translation of the Kural text was by Hazrat Suhrawardy, a professor of Urdu Department of Jamal Mohammad College, Tiruchirappalli.
