Island Packet Yachts is an American builder of blue-water cruising sailing and motor yachts, based out of Largo, Florida.The incorporated name for the company is Traditional Watercraft, Inc. Production facilities are located on five acres of ground with 52,000 square feet (4,800 m 2) of covered manufacturing space in central Pinellas County.
C&C also produced a line of bluewater cruising boats in the 35 ft (10.7 m) to 48 ft (14.6 m) range under its Landfall brand. In addition, C&C designed sailboats for production by a number of other manufacturers such as CS Yachts, Mirage Yachts, Northern Yachts, Ontario Yachts, Paceship Yachts, and Tanzer Industries. [3]

The boat is built in fiberglass, originally by De Havilland Marine (Sydney c1967), then Blue Water marine (until 2008) and most recently Corsair Dinghy Marine. It is a rather heavy boat, with minimum race weight being 136 kg and many boats frequently exceeding that.
A 2016 review in Blue Water Boats described the design, "If you can get over the lack of deck space and finding place to stow your tender, you’ll find a boat that’s essentially solid, seaworthy and with the interior space of a boat 6 feet longer. She’s large enough to live in, and being so small she’s incredibly easy to handle.
