Gangnam District (Korean: 강남구; RR: Gangnam-gu; IPA: [ka̠ŋna̠m.gu]) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea. The term Gangnam translates to "South of the Han River". Gangnam District is the third largest district in Seoul, with an area of 39.5 km 2 (15.3 sq mi).
The hotel was used as the filming location for Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS)'s drama Lovers in Paris, namely the swimming pool, the lobby where the two leads kiss, The Paris Bar, where male lead, Han Ki-joo played by Park Shin-yang sang to Kang Tae-young played by Kim Jung-eun, J.J. Mahoney's, where the college hockey party held and the grand ballroom, where the engagement ceremony was held.
The area has a large concentration of upscale shopping malls, popular restaurants and hotels such as the Ramada Seoul Hotel, the Hyatt Park Hotel and Intecontinental Hotel. The COEX mall , the world's largest underground shopping mall, is located in Samseong-dong.

Cheongdam-dong (Korean: 청담동) is a ward of Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea. [1] [2] The area is best known in South Korea as an affluent neighborhood populated by a disproportionately high number of high-income individuals and for having some of the most expensive real estate in the country.
Banpo-dong (Korean: 반포동) is a dong (neighborhood) of Seocho District, Seoul, South Korea. [1] [2] Banpo-dong is divided into five different dong which are Banpobon-dong, Banpo 1-dong, 2-dong, 3-dong and 4-dong. The neighborhood is just north of Express Bus Terminal station and to the south of the Han River.
