Rosalee Calvert (played by Bree Turner) is a Fuchsbau, a fox-like Wesen. She is first seen in the season 1 episode "Island of Dreams" after her brother Freddy Calvert, an apothecary, is murdered. She comes to Portland to close her brother's "Spice & Tea Shop", but, as an apothecary herself, winds up running it, after becoming smitten with Monroe.
The next day she visits Monroe and Rosalee and tells them what happened with her daughter Diana. Monroe and Rosalee are forced to comfort and accommodate her in their living room. When a mysterious young woman (Jacqueline Toboni) arrives in Portland, she is assaulted by two Wesen, a Lausenschlange and a Klaustreich, who appear to kill her.

Adalind is offered an opportunity to reunite with her missing daughter, Diana; while Eve discovers Black Claw is recruiting Renard.
Wu then discovers the Grimm book and opens it to reveal a Lausenschlange entry, reminding him of his previous nightmares with the Aswang. The wedding goes well and Monroe and Rosalee are officially pronounced husband and wife. However, Trubel arrives at the wedding with the antidote, causing the guests to woge when they discover she is a Grimm.
