[7] As of September 2024, the brigade was still in Donetsk Oblast, defending the front against the Russian offensive. It had fought and lost the battle for Novohrodivka, suffering "a lot of losses", according to a commander. [8]
The battalions' insignia differs greatly to other battalions of the International Legion. The insignia is displayed in the shape of a circle with the inscriptions of the battalion's designation abbreviated at the top, as well as 'International Legion Defence of Ukraine' being displayed at the bottom of the insignia.
