Prasads Multiplex is an Indian multiplex theater in Hyderabad, Telangana. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It is India's third IMAX theatre. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] [ 5 ] It was earlier the largest IMAX 3D screen in the world with the Sydney IMAX Theatre (123 x 97 ft) having the largest IMAX screen.
Prasad Studios and Prasad Film Labs are motion picture post-production studios headquartered in Chennai, India, founded by Prasad Group in 1956. The production house has produced over 150 films in Telugu , Tamil , Kannada , Malayalam and Hindi languages.

In 2003, Ramesh Prasad expanded his ventures by opening Prasads, an IMAX theater in Hyderabad. The idea came after a visit to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C. in the early 1990s, where Ramesh watched an IMAX film To Fly (1976). Inspired by the experience, he decided to bring IMAX technology to India. [5]
