State Trunk Highway 76 (often called Highway 76, STH-76 or WIS 76) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin.It runs north–south in east central Wisconsin from US Highway 45 near Bear Creek to a junction with US Highway 45 in downtown Oshkosh.
Starting at US 10 (exit 267) interchange, WIS 96 and WIS 110 begin to travel northward from CTH-II as a four-lane divided road. Shortly after that, WIS 96 turns east as a two-lane undivided road while WIS 110 turns west. Going east, WIS 96 meets Readfield, US 45 at a roundabout, Dale, and Medina.
The highway turns northward onto Main Street and passes west and north of the University of Wisconsin–Stout campus. WIS 29 turns east onto Stout Road along with US 12 and leaves the city to the east. [5] US 12/WIS 29 proceeds east for about nine miles (14 km) and junctions with Interstate 94 (I-94).

The WIS 153 designation first appeared on the state highway map in 1925 as a largely unpaved route from WIS 97 in Stratford to WIS 10 in Mosinee. The section west of WIS 97 was signed as CTH-M. [ 3 ] In 1927, the same year WIS 10 was redesignated as US 51, a section east of US 51 was signed as CTH-K. [ 4 ]
