Fußball-Club St. Pauli von 1910 e.V., commonly known as simply FC St. Pauli (German pronunciation: [ɛfˌtseː zaŋkt ˈpaʊli] ⓘ), is a German professional football club based in the St. Pauli district of Hamburg. The team competes in the Bundesliga in the 2024–25 season following promotion.
The 2024–25 season is the 115th season in the history of St. Pauli, and their first season in the Bundesliga after an absence since 2010–11. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the DFB-Pokal .
Jackson Alexander Irvine (born 7 March 1993) is an Australian professional association football (soccer) player who plays as a central midfielder for Bundesliga club FC St. Pauli, whom he captains, and the Australia national team. Irvine previously played for Celtic, Kilmarnock, Ross County, Burton Albion, Hull City and Hibernian.
