Greenwood Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Opened in phases between 1979 and 1980, the mall comprises 67 stores, including three anchor stores: Belk, [2] Dillard's, and JCPenney. It also includes a food court, Ulta Beauty, an Old Navy, a Chuck E. Cheese, and the first Dunham's Sports in the state of Kentucky.

Scottsville Road is a major four-lane undivided thoroughfare in Bowling Green, in Warren County in south-central Kentucky. [2] [3]The road is often known as the busiest roadway in Bowling Green as heavy traffic volumes often use the road, especially with the presence of several businesses of all kinds, including Greenwood Mall.
Between May and November 1967, stores in Bowling Green Mall opened for business. Another advertisement said, "One-stop shopping. Just park [free], step out and shop. You'll find everything close at hand." Between September 1979 and September 1980, stores in the larger Greenwood Mall came online.
In May 2020, JCPenney announced plans to close 175 locations in 2020 and 2021. Those stores span 38 states; the company says 670 stores remain in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
