The Golden Lamb Inn, photographed November 15, 1936. The Golden Lamb Inn is the oldest hotel in Ohio, having been established in the Warren County seat of Lebanon in 1803. It opened as a log tavern, licensed as "a house of Public Entertainment" located on the main street of Lebanon. [2]
The village was first organized in 1873. In 1911-1912 the city of Cleveland annexed Nottingham Village along with parts of Euclid. Like many communities of the day, Nottingham had its conflicts concerning alcohol. In January 1903 the village passed a law disallowing the sale of beverages which contained alcohol content greater than two percent.
The Terrace Plaza Hotel is an 18-story International Style mixed-use building completed in 1948 in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. It sits at 15 Sixth St West between Vine and Race Streets. The hotel was renamed the Palace Hotel Cincinnatian on September 24, 1948, [7] which was then shortened to the Hotel Cincinnatian in 1951. [ 3 ] The hotel underwent a massive $25 million renovation in 1987, that added a glass-domed atrium and reduced the 300 guest rooms to 146 rooms including seven suites. [ 3 ]
