1963 50 cc Kreidler Renn-Florett. The 50 cc class was the ultra-lightweight class in Grand Prix motorcycle racing, and formed part of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) World Championships from 1962 until 1983; when the class was replaced by 80 cc.
The Yamaha YSR50 is a miniature motorcycle that was produced and sold by Yamaha during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The bike featured an air-cooled 50 cc (3.1 cu in) two-stroke engine. The engine was sometimes swapped out for a larger variety. [1] Its first production year was 1986, and it was last made in 1992.
The Yamaha DT50MX is the most common 50 cc (3.1 cu in) motorcycle in the Yamaha DT series. It superseded the DT50M when introduced in June 1981 and can easily be identified by its Mono-Cross(MX) rear suspension with a silver painted square-section rear swinging arm and a more angular tank as opposed to the more rounded one found on the M variant.
Yamaha XS 850. The 826cc replacement for the XS750 was a very similar beast. The engine received bigger barrels and pistons, a beefier crankshaft, a wider primary chain and better oil ways. The addition of an oil cooler helped keep things cool. The European 850 “G” came with the 24 liter tank as standard, plus a huge 8" diameter headlight.
A race kit was also developed for the 90 cc production engine. [8] [23] The racers were first tried at the new Fisco circuit (now Fuji Speedway) in March 1966. The machines won both the 50 cc and 90 cc novice races and also the 50 cc experts race. [23] The next outing was at the non-championship Malaysian GP at Easter that year.
The Yamaha DT is a series of motorcycles and mopeds produced by the Yamaha Motor Corporation. Models in the DT series feature an engine displacement of 50 to 400 cc (3.1 to 24.4 cu in). The first DT model, the DT-1, was released in 1968 and quickly sold through its initial 12,000 production run.
The P in Yamaha V50P stood for pedals and was released in the UK in 1975, now that it had pedals it could be bought and used on L-plates. The bike itself was almost exactly the same to the original V50 but instead of having the standard footrests it had pedals that could move the bike when the engine was off.
The Yamaha XMAX is a series of maxi-scooters manufactured by Yamaha Motor Company since 2006. [ 1 ] It is available in four engines (the 125, 250, 300 and the 400 cm3), and is enjoying strong commercial success in Europe.
