Pharr is a city in Hidalgo County, Texas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 79,715, [6] and in 2022, the estimated population was 80,187. [7] Pharr is connected by bridge to the Mexican city of Reynosa, Tamaulipas. Pharr is part of the McAllen–Edinburg–Mission and Reynosa–McAllen metropolitan areas.
Pharr Events Center (presently known as the Boggus Ford Events Center) is a 2,500-seat indoor arena located in Pharr, Texas. It is used primarily for boxing and wrestling, but is also used as a concert venue, with standing room bringing the capacity to 3,500. There is parking for 600 cars, plus a 60-by-35-foot performance stage.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Early College High School is a public school in Pharr, Texas (United States). It is part of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District and is one of the district's six high schools. Located at 500 E. Nolana Loop, the school serves students in grades nine through twelve.
On March 15, 1919, Common School District No. 4 in Hidalgo County became Pharr-San Juan Independent School District. Forty years later in 1959, Alamo merged with the district, establishing what is now known as the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District, a district that caters to over 31,000 students in the tri-city area.
