While Robin continues to evade the government agents from capturing her, Luffy uses his Haki techniques to defeat Fake Luffy's group. Meanwhile, the government agents capture the Fake Robin. Sanji learns about what has happened to Zoro from a fisherman. While talking to the fisherman, Sanji finally discovers Zoro as he destroys the ship he was in.
Meanwhile, Luffy faces Monet off and almost dies in the battle, due to having his body frozen, but recovers and counters with Haki. The counterattack, however, made a hole in the floor, leading to the garbage room, where Luffy fell to, and Monet gives farewell to him, as "he can only escape flying".
Luffy attempt to fight back using Armament Haki, but his punches go right though him, much to Luffy's confusion, as Trebol question Luffy's assumption of his Devil Fruit being a Logia. Law tells Luffy that fighting Trebol is futile, while revealing Trebol's slime is in fact mucus, before he begins to insult Trebol and the other executives.
Luffy is knocked into a stream and washes up in a pool where Hancock is bathing. Luffy and members of the Kuja Pirates defeat everyone except Ginger, who escapes using a CO2 attack which separates the Kujas from Luffy and Hancock. As Hancock asks Luffy to attend the Pirates Fest with her, they are attacked by Cidre, the Cidre Guild's commander.
The remaining 4 episodes give insight into the fates of Luffy's crew, while Luffy with Hancock's help, who fell in love with him, travels to Impel Down, the world's largest prison, to save his adoptive older brother, Portgas D.
