Owned by iHeartMedia , it broadcasts an adult contemporary radio format , switching to Christmas music in early November and ending a few days after Christmas Day (or after Christmas Day, if the holiday falls on a Sunday).

She is the host of the Ellen K Radio Show on KOST 103.5 FM, and the nationally-syndicated weekend program Ellen K Weekend Show on iHeartMedia AC-formatted stations like Lite FM in New York and in Chicago.

Kim Amidon (born 20th century) is an American radio personality, known for her work on the Most Music Mornings on KOST 103.5 in Los Angeles, California, co-hosting with Mark Wallengren. [ 1 ] In 2006, she and Wallengren both received together a "star" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for their work on the radio.
At the time, the AM station was the market's #1 rated station, and the new owners wanted to capitalize on that success, especially as music listening was shifting to FM. The station moved back to an adult contemporary format, and began simulcasting part of the day with KSSK, including the top-rated "Perry & Price" morning show.
Sunny 106.5 plays Christmas music during the holiday season, as so happens to most iHeart-owned AC stations, like KOST, as well as other AC stations that are not owned by iHeartMedia. Sunny 106.5 has previously jingles from JAM Creative Productions. From 2014 to 2016, Sunny 106.5 used the KVIL Reelworld jingles package.
