The buffer that PayPal represents and the ability of eBay customer support to intervene is what made it possible. Two elements have been eliminated, not just one. The new system is automated in a way that precludes the influence or interference of eBay customer service to do anything as far as I can tell.

@daninmanchester . Print the invoice to a PDF file and then send the PDF to the buyer. If you have trouble sending the pdf via eBay then covert it to a jpg or ask the buyer for their actual (real) email address (eBay legal when you have a completed and paid for transaction).
