On November 13, 2011, Ikaika was transported to SeaWorld San Diego, where he joined six other orcas; Ulises, Corky, Orkid, Kasatka, Nakai and Kalia. As of December 2021, Ikaika is SeaWorld San Diego's largest orca as well as the largest orca in the US weighing in at 9,900 pounds and 21.9 ft long. He spends most of his time with Corky or Makani.
