In regards to the CCSE this thread seems to be the only one that lists details, as the official Check Point study guide still references to an quite old version. Having a valid CCSA is required to take the CCSE. So you should be good to sit the CCSE exam if your CCSA is still valid. CCSE is valid for 2 years. It can be extended one time for 1 year by completing an infinity specialist accreditation. Completing 2 infinity specialist accreditations on top of CCSE gives you the CCSM.
Since R80 is a completely new product version with many new features, only the CCSA R80 certification provides the background necessary to be a prerequisite to CCSE R80 certification.
