I have a Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10 Pro. For 6 years I have had netflix and have been able to download content to watch offline while travelling without internet - The last being June 27, 2024. Today Aug 2, I noticed a new app was installed and the download function is no longer available.
How can I change the download location for the Netflix app to an external storage device? I'm trying to download movies to my external drive and there's no setting within the app to do so, it defaults to C:. I also tried to move the app entirely to the external but there is no windows setting to do so.
It says that the app is already owned when I go to the store page. However, when I click the blue 'install' button, a black border appears around the button but nothing appears to happen. As far as I can tell, this is unique to Netflix as for example, I can still install Candy Crush (another app that I own).
