Garden City is a town in Cullman and Blount counties in the U.S. state of Alabama. At the 2020 census, the population was 528. Garden City was founded by Johann Cullmann, namesake of Cullman County in 1873 after founding Cullman, Alabama. It was located in Blount County and was incorporated in 1878 (although other sources claim 1911).

Oakey Streak Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic church in Butler County, Alabama, United States. The congregation was organized in 1831, and the land where the current church sits was given to the church in 1851. A log building was erected soon after, replaced by the current frame structure around the 1880s.

Claybank Log Church is a historic church in Ozark, Alabama. The building is the second church on the site, replacing a similar structure built in 1829. The current building was constructed by a Methodist minister, although the church was also used for various community functions. It is believed to be the oldest extant building in Dale County.
The land for the church was donated by the Catterlin family, early Choctaw County settlers who had established the a post office in Mount Sterling in 1838. The one-story frame building was the first in the county to be built exclusively as a church; an earlier Baptist church was originally built as a Masonic lodge and seminary .
