Wills Hall is one of more than twenty halls of residence in the University of Bristol. It is located high on the Stoke Bishop site on the edge of the Bristol Downs , and houses c. 370 students in two quadrangles .
University Hall, constructed in 1971, was the first self-catering hall of residence built on the Stoke Bishop site and accommodates around 300 students. [14] The majority of students are accommodated in the six original buildings on University Close that comprise 12 flats each except for one block which contains 6 flats.

He donated about £135,000 for the creation of a hall of residence at Bristol University and in 1923 was created a Baronet "of Blagdon". Together with his brother Henry Herbert Wills he built the Wills Memorial Building in Bristol in memory of his father.
