The S16 is a regional railway service of the S-Bahn Zürich on the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV), Zürich transportation network, and is one of the network's services providing service within the canton of Zürich. At Zürich HB, trains of the S16 service usually depart from underground tracks (Gleis) 41–44 (Museumstrasse station).
The main station is served by lines S3, S5, S6, S7, S9, S11, S12, S15 and S16 of the Zürich S-Bahn, running on the SBB lines. The S20 and S23 provide additional peak-hour service. S-Bahn line S18 , running over the Forchbahn, leaves from outside the station, at a stop on Stadelhofenplatz .
The station sits in the approach to Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich HB), Zürich's main station, on the Zürich–Baden line near its junction with the Käferberg Tunnel variant of the Zürich–Winterthur line, and to the north of the through tracks that carry long-distance passenger and occasional freight trains.
It is located in front of the Zürich Stadelhofen mainline railway station. Lines 8, 11, and 15 of the Zürich tram network stop here. The station is also the terminus of trains running on the suburban Forchbahn, designated as S18 on the Zürich S-Bahn, which shares the tram lines between Zürich Stadelhofen and Zürich Rehalp. [2]

Zürich HB SZU railway station (German: Bahnhof Zürich HB SZU) is a railway station in the municipality of Zürich, in the Swiss canton of Zürich. It is underneath and physically connected to the Zürich Hauptbahnhof , Zürich's primary train station, although they do not share any tracks.
It is one of the two major nodes for local and regional public transportation in the northern part of Zürich, the other being the railway station at Zurich Airport. Oerlikon station is a junction station, or Keilbahnhof: tracks 1 and 2 are on the Zürich–Winterthur line, while tracks 3–8 are on the Oerlikon–Bülach line.
Most trains also serve Zürich Hauptbahnhof, the city's main railway station, with, for most of the day, some 13 trains per hour (tph) taking between 9 and 13 minutes for the journey.
