The team plays its home games at the Aztec Lacrosse Field. The Aztecs had played in the Pac-12 Conference in the 2024 season, but with the impending collapse of the Pac-12 as a backdrop, the team announced plans to join the Big 12 as an affiliate member for women's lacrosse on February 21, 2024.
The Women's Lacrosse League (WLL; sponsor name Maybelline Women's Lacrosse League) is a professional lacrosse sixes league owned and organized by the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). It is the sole professional lacrosse league for women in the United States. The WLL commenced play in 2025, with four clubs competing.

The Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) is a lacrosse-only athletic conference affiliated with the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA). The conference incorporates teams from California and Arizona and is divided into three divisions, Division I, Division II, and Division III.
