The 2021 Big Machine Music City Grand Prix was an IndyCar motor race held on August 8, 2021 at the Nashville Street Circuit in Nashville, Tennessee. [1] It was the eleventh round of the 2021 IndyCar Series and the ninth edition of the Music City Grand Prix (following changes made in 2024), the first on the street circuit.
On February 14, 2024, it was announced because of construction issues with the new Tennessee Titans stadium and the Broadway region issues with closing streets for the race, the Nashville Street Circuit race will be discontinued. It will be replaced by Gladeville's Nashville Superspeedway for the first time since 2008.
The Music City Grand Prix, known as the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix for sponsorship reasons, was an IndyCar Series race held at the Nashville Street Circuit in Nashville, Tennessee. The race's most notable feature was its 3,578 ft (1,091 m) straightaway across the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge , which spans the Cumberland River .
The 206-lap race is Sept. 15 starting at 2:25 p.m. Marcus Ericsson won the inaugural Music City Grand Prix in 2021. Scott Dixon won in 2022 and Kyle Kirkwood in 2023.

The juniors' race starts at 9am, while the start times for the men's and women's races alternate each year. [2] The halfway point is a stone marker [1] on Mount Marathon, [3] 2,974 feet (906 m) above sea level, [4] and a mile and a half from the finish line.
