B&M Retail Limited, trading as B&M, is a British multinational variety store and garden centre chain founded in 1978 and based in Speke. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange , and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index .
The cauldrons were filled with beans, molasses, and other ingredients on the top floor of the factory and baked for hours. The cooked beans were dumped into a chute and went down to the canning line. [1] In 2021, owner B&G Foods Inc. announced that the B&M Baked Beans factory would close.

The retailer was founded by owner Tom Morris in 1976 as a single store called Home and Bargain [2] in Old Swan, Liverpool when he was aged 21. The name was changed to Home Bargains in 1995, but is still colloquially referred to by its original name in the Merseyside area.
