Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato: Warriors of Love (さらば宇宙戦艦ヤマト 愛の戦士たち, Saraba Uchū Senkan Yamato Ai no Senshitachi), also called Arrivederci Yamato, is the second film based on the classic manga and anime series Space Battleship Yamato (known as Star Blazers in the United States) and the sequel to Space Battleship Yamato (1977).
Attempting to consolidate his reign, he deliberately stirs up their feud by inviting the clans to choose their five best warriors to fight to the death. Designated as the leaders of the two clans respectively, Kouga Gennosuke ( Joe Odagiri ) and Oboro ( Yukie Nakama ), who have secretly married, are unwillingly embroiled in the political plot.
It received mixed reviews from critics who praised it for music and animation, but criticized the narrative and characterization.
