Gamma Sigma Delta (ΓΣΔ), or more fully, the Honor Society of Agriculture, Gamma Sigma Delta, is an international honor society for agriculture students and those in related fields. Founded in 1913, it is the oldest and largest such society for its academic discipline, which also includes Delta Tau Alpha , founded in 1960.

Sigma Alpha (ΣΑ) is an American professional sorority for agricultural students. It was established at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 1978 as a women's fraternity. The sorority has chartered more than 80 chapters in the United States.

Finally, membership in an honor society might be considered exclusive, i.e., a member of such an organization cannot join other honor societies representing the same field. Governance varies from faculty-guided to purely student-run.
Later, the honor society was incorporated as a (501)(c)(3) nonprofit corporation to expand to other colleges and universities.
