The Mount Clemens location opened in 1990. In 1993, the Taylor location doubled in size. During its 34 years in Taylor, the Gibraltar Trade Center went on to become a popular destination in the Downriver region of Metro Detroit. The track opened in 1959 and closed in fall of 1998. In 1959 and 1960 the track hosted the U.S. Nationals. The U.S. Nationals were moved to Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis in 1961.
