Little League Baseball and Softball (officially, Little League Baseball Inc [1]) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization [2] [3] based in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, United States, that organizes local youth baseball and softball leagues throughout the United States and the rest of the world.
As part of a rotational schedule also involving Panama and Puerto Rico, the winner of the Cuba Region gained direct entry into the tournament in 2024. The tournament took place in Bayamo, Cuba from February 10–March 3.
Each year, along with Little League Volunteer Stadium, it hosts the Little League World Series. The playing field is two-thirds the size of a professional baseball field, with 60-foot (18.3 m) basepaths, a 46-foot (14 m) mound, and after modification in 2006, outfield fences at 225 ft (68.6 m), forming one-fourth of a true circle .

The Little League World Series is an annual baseball tournament for children (primarily boys) aged 10 to 12 years old, held in the Eastern United States. [1] [2] Originally called the National Little League Tournament, it was later renamed for the World Series in Major League Baseball.
The state's runner-up, who had lost the championship game by forfeit, were awarded the title. However, they would also be disqualified later for the same reason. Little League officials, after failing to find another replacement team on such short notice, decided the regional tournament would have to take place without a team from Utah. [2]
