Trivium is an American heavy metal band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 1999. [1] The band comprises vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy, guitarist Corey Beaulieu, bassist Paolo Gregoletto, and drummer Alex Bent.
At the same time, the band announced the album itself, the album cover, the track list, and release date. [2] Trivium toured in support of the album as an opening act for Megadeth and Lamb of God on their summer 2020 tour called "The Metal Tour of the Year".

Trivium kept a consistent line-up for 2006's The Crusade and 2008's Shogun, before Smith was fired from the band in 2010 after choosing not to be involved in the late-2009 tour in order to "take care of some personal business". His initial replacement Nick Augusto was later confirmed as the new full-time drummer for the band. [12]
