The band was inspired by Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Slayer, [3] Savatage, Nasty Savage and bands in the then-burgeoning Florida death metal scene: Death, and Morbid Angel. In addition to his work with Deicide, Benton was also a of member of the band Vital Remains, occasionally recording and performing with the band.
Napalm Death are an English grindcore band, founded by Nic Bullen (vocals, bass, guitar) and Miles Ratledge (drums) in May 1981 when the two were 12/13 years old. [1] The band currently consists of bassist Shane Embury (since 1987), lead vocalist Mark "Barney" Greenway, guitarist Mitch Harris (both since 1989), and drummer Danny Herrera (since 1991).
