Deals Gap (el. 1,988 ft (606 m)) is a mountain pass along the North Carolina–Tennessee state line, bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and near the Little Tennessee River. At 0.7 miles (1.1 km) south of the gap is the unincorporated community that shares the same name, located at the intersection of US 129 and NC 28.
Delco is located near the eastern tip of Columbus County, at an elevation of 49 feet (15 m). Combined U.S. Routes 74 and 76 (the four-lane Andrew Jackson Highway) passes through the center of the community, leading east 18 miles (29 km) to Wilmington and west 28 miles (45 km) to Whiteville, the Columbus County seat.
