Ardlui railway station is a rural railway station, serving Ardlui at the north end of Loch Lomond, in Scotland.The station is located on the West Highland Line, sited 27 miles 43 chains (44.3 km) from Craigendoran Junction, near Helensburgh, between Crianlarich and Arrochar and Tarbet. [5]

Although the line through the station was opened in July 1850, [4] the current Balloch station was opened by British Rail and SPTE on 24 April 1988, replacing the former Balloch Central station which was situated immediately north of a level crossing on Balloch Road. The village was formerly served by two railway stations on the Caledonian and Dunbartonshire Junction Railway : Balloch Central , and Balloch Pier , which closed in 1988 and 1986, respectively.
