Marion County is a county located in the northeastern portion of Missouri.As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,525. [1] Its county seat is Palmyra. [2] Unique from most third-class counties in the state, Marion has two county courthouses, the second located in Hannibal. [3]
Its western terminus is at U.S. Route 60 (US 60) in Marionville, and its eastern terminus is at US 63 on the northern edge of West Plains. Route 14 is a two-lane highway for its entire length, however, there are plans to widen Route 14 in some spots.
