New York State Route 147 (NY 147) is a north–south state highway in the Capital District of New York in the United States. The southern terminus of the route is at an intersection with NY 5 west of Schenectady in the village of Scotia. Its northern terminus is at a junction with NY 29 in the town of Galway.

Schenectady County (/ s k ə ˈ n ɛ k t ə d i /) is a county in the U.S. state of New York.As of the 2020 census, the population was 158,061. [2] The county seat is Schenectady. [3] The name is from a Mohawk language word meaning "on the other side of the pine lands," a term that originally applied to Albany.

New York State Route 159 (NY 159) is a 13.52-mile-long (21.76 km) east–west state highway in New York, running from the town of Duanesburg through Mariaville Lake to the hamlet of Rotterdam, just outside the city of Schenectady. A two-lane highway for all of its length, it is entirely located in Schenectady County.
