Buzz!: The Music Quiz is a party music video game developed by Relentless Software and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. It is the first instalment of the Buzz! series and was released exclusively in Europe. In The Music Quiz, players answer questions asked by the host, Buzz, by using the four Buzz! buzzers.
Pop Quiz is a British television quiz programme that originally aired on BBC1 from 4 July 1981 to 28 December 1984 with a Top of the Pops special on 4 January 1994 hosted by Mike Read. It was then revived from 21 May to 9 July 1994 on the same channel but this time hosted by Chris Tarrant .
The syndicated version of the series uses a modified format: in each episode, a contestant plays four songs from four categories. Each correct answer progresses the contestant up a money ladder, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000; unlike the primetime version, answering incorrectly does not end the game, but does prevent the contestant from reaching the higher amounts.

Doing so gave the contestant the opportunity to name the subject to which the song applied. If the contestant was wrong or did not guess the subject, another song was played and the process repeated. As in Game 1, if the contestant failed to identify the correct song, they would be locked out of the next tune.

A port to PlayStation Portable developed by Curve Studios was released in 2011. The final instalment of the Buzz! game series, it was only released in Europe.
