Mangudadatu, officially the Municipality of Mangudadatu (Maguindanaon: Ingud nu Mangudadatu; Iranun: Inged a Mangudadatu; Tagalog: Bayan ng Mangudadatu), is a municipality in the province of Maguindanao del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 26,203 people.
As per law former Maguindanao Governor Mariam Mangudadatu was expected to become the governor of the newly formed Maguindanao del Sur province. [1] [2] However an issue arose since the determination of the first set of officials of the province presumes that the plebiscite was held prior to the 2022 national and local elections.

He is the father of Datu Udzag Midtimbang.,the first mayor and the founder of empire Talayan Maguindanao, Datu Midpantao Sr., the former mayor of the municipality of Guindulungan, and Datu Ali Midtimbang Sr., the former mayor of Talayan Maguindanao.
