Tulare (/ t ʊ ˈ l ɛər i / ⓘ tuu-LAIR-ee) is a city in Tulare County, California, United States.The population was 68,875 per the 2020 census.It is located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, 8 mi (13 km) south of Visalia and 60 mi (97 km) north of Bakersfield.

St Aloysius' was founded as the Jesuit (Society of Jesus) parish of central Oxford. The building was funded by £7,000 donated by the Catholic convert Baroness Weld . [ 1 ] Completed in 1875, the building of St Aloysius' was an important step in the ongoing refoundation of a Roman Catholic presence in Oxford.

Aloysius de Gonzaga, SJ (Italian: Luigi Gonzaga; 9 March 1568 – 21 June 1591) was an Italian aristocrat who became a member of the Society of Jesus. While still a student at the Roman College , he died as a result of caring for the victims of a serious epidemic.
The ruins of St. Aloysius Church in the ghost town of Morley, Colorado in Las Animas County.
