Heinz Kluetmeier (October 1, 1942 – January 14, 2025) was a sports photographer for Sports Illustrated. He covered every Olympic Games for the magazine since the 1972 Munich games except one. [1] Kluetmeier was best known for his photo at the end of the Miracle on Ice game, which ran on the cover of Sports Illustrated without any caption. [2]
