Your "neighbor" will LOSE her claim that the item was not delivered properly. It WAS delivered to the exact address she provided when she purchased the item. That's what eBay and PayPal care about. Anyone reading this thread and considering trying this failed scam should reconsider.

I'd like to keep it alive if possible. A couple months ago, it died and after rebooting it was stuck on the "Welcome…. Starting Up" screen.

Pop it in, WELCOME, pop in the old one WELCOME, try to copy the original drive to the Ebay drive and it's no longer stuck in Clear and Delete, it's now also stuck in WELCOME. Tried to get into kickstart, stood on my head and pushed the pause button, no Joy! To make a long story short, I now have 3 dead hard drives stuck in WELCOME.
