State Highway 470 (SH 470, known locally as C-470) is a freeway located in the southwestern portion of the Denver Metro Area. It is also the southwestern portion of the Denver Metro area's beltway. SH 470 begins at US 6 in Golden and heads south interchanging Interstate 70 and then US 285 outside Morrison.

When the Terry St./11th firehouse was designed (currently Longmont Fire Station #1), the front was designed to mimic the front of the fire house on 4th/Coffman. Because of this design, the new fire house was able to house the early 1900 fire pole and bell once used to get early firefighters from the second floor to the street level.
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1881 is a historical church building in Longmont, Colorado. Also known to be middle of Longmont, Colorado back when it started to develop. The church is now home to the St. Vrain Historical Society. It was built of red brick which was later painted white. [2]
Highlandlake was founded in 1871 by Lorin C. Mead. He came to Colorado, arriving on June 1, 1871, in The Chicago Colorado Colony later known as Longmont, with the idea of purchasing land in the Greeley, Weld County, area. After taking a stage to Greeley, where he found that the best land was already taken up, he returned by stage to Longmont.
