Shrek 2: Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack for the animated comedy film Shrek 2 and was released in May 2004, to accompany the release of the film. The soundtrack reached the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on the Soundtrack Albums as well as topping the albums chart in Australia.
"Like Wow!" is the debut single by American recording artist Leslie Carter. Her debut album of the same name was shelved, making the single her only official release.. The song was officially released on January 13, 2001, and appears on the Shrek soundtrack.
The song achieved widespread popularity after Cale's version of it was featured in the 2001 film Shrek. [3] [4] Many other arrangements have been performed in recordings and in concert, with more than 300 versions known as of 2008. [5] The song has been used in film and television soundtracks and televised talent contests.

AllMusic awarded the album 3 stars with reviewer Sean Cooper stating, "The group's debut shifts restlessly among animated jazz, rock, punk, and warped blues themes, filling the inevitable cracks with instrumental textures, minimal vignettes, and formless noise, similar in some respects to John Zorn's Naked City (though with considerably more focus...hell, with focus period!).
"Accidentally in Love" is a song by American rock band Counting Crows. The song was written for the opening scene of the 2004 DreamWorks animated film Shrek 2 and appears on the movie's soundtrack as the opening track. [3]
